Clearly I obsess about shoes. This is very clear. It is so sad that I was born with slightly larger feet than the average size 8, and don’t look great in all shoes, but I make due and focus on the positive. The positive being I have feet and they are very good to me as I spent most of my days running around on them. This year I love everything about ankle boots. I’ll admit that I was afraid of ankle boots for awhile due to spending many years in Doc Martens back in the grunge days. But last year I got a great pair of Isabel Marant Dicker boots and this year I ended up buying the Alaia booties and I wore them to dinner with a friend recently and haven’t looked back, ok maybe once or twice at the price tag, but still…

Proenza Schouler Black Suede Bootie. These actually look comfortable.

Erdem for Nicolas Kirkwood. These are pretty much a piece of art. Love.

Chloe. The simplicity of this boot is great.

Alexander Wang. I love this boot. I am seriously considering it. I already have the knee boot version but this one is waaaay different.

Chloe Studded Susanna bootie. Love this one. I was really torn between the red and the grey. I think I would go for the red. But this is only because I have a few neutral colors already.
